Don't tell Phillip I told any of you this, but he's been having a stressful time at work, and when he came home from lunch today, he was just really down on himself, so, any words of encouragement, from anyone out there, might bring his spirits up... I think he's just really ready for Fall Harvest to be totally wrapped up. I know between Down's and Salina, for the month of November, they had like 13 trains to load (or maybe that was only the total count for Salina, and Down's had 9 of their own... I'm a bad wife, I can't remember the count!). It will be setting some sort of Scoular record though, for the most amount of trains loaded in a month, excellent for Scoular and for Phillip's experience, yet stressful being in charge of it all. He's a great leader and I think he puts a lot of pressure on himself, so while he may have thought he didn't do something well enough, it was probably better than anyone else could have.
On another (more silly) note, I had a dream on Monday, November 15th, that I went into labor and delivered the baby without Phillip being present. Phillip did arrive later to the hospital driving a baby blue with white stripes Mini Cooper (ridiculous for how large of people we are). He opened up his Franklin Covey planner and revealed the name of the baby. In scrapbooking stickers was the name WADE spelled out. So apparently it was a baby boy that we were to name Wade. Phillip and I keep jokingly saying that, it's a sign, we have to name the Nugget Wade, if it's a boy. This was my very first boy dream, I've had two other girl dreams prior to this... so I'm not exactly sure what that means. Though, Phillip and I had been spending quite a bit of time choosing a boy's name, and had finally settled on a tentative one prior to this dream, but maybe all of the boy-talk led to this...
Phillip and I spent our time this weekend at the Annual Senior Thanksgiving Dinner in Derby at the church Phillip and I met in. My mom and dad put the dinner on for approximately 400 seniors, so Phillip and I make sure to help out by being servers. It's a really fun experience, plus we usually get a helping of the meal for ourselves too.
This is a little late, but Gremom and Poppa Cornelson, my maternal grandparents, sent me this "funny" in the mail just a little after Halloween. I'll never forget weekend mornings reading the "funnies" or comics section of the newspaper with Poppa.
For anyone that knows our little Sneebie... these are his exact thoughts :)
Phillip and I have been working hard to devise a plan for how to tell our parents the gender of the baby at Christmas time... we think we've got a pretty good idea going... now we just have to find out what the little Nuggie is :) Our friends the Graber's took us for an Ultrasound yesterday, and he, Chris, is fairly certain he knows the Nugget's gender. People just keep telling us that we will be very surprised when we find out. I think we have officially decided to find out. So we are anxiously awaiting December 3rd!
Again... Mr. Phillip is headed home... so I must quickly create some masterpiece of a meal for him to enjoy. If I'm not back on here before Thanksgiving, then enjoy the holiday everyone! We love you all dearly and are so very thankful for the amazing family we have!
God Bless...
