Hello friends and family! Receiving this blog post as an email might come as a surprise to most of you... since it's been nearly 3 months since my last post! My oh my what a busy last 3 months this has been! For anyone that doesn't already know, we found out that I am pregnant with our second baby and due November 17th of this year. Callie Faith turned 2!!! I can't even believe she is 2!! And speaking more and more everyday! Just Sunday evening she spoke her longest sentence to date, when asked if she was ready to go home from her Great Grandparent Cornelson's house she simply stated, "No! A Gee's House!" She didn't want to come home to Salina... she wanted to go to her Gee's house! And just this weekend, with a very fun Gender Reveal Party at the lake, we found out that we are, in fact, having a baby BOY!!!
I'm not sure that I could possibly cover how much fun we've had over the last 3 months in one simple post... so I'll add photos and leave it at that... but now that I have a little more energy (that first trimester was rough!!) and haven't been getting sick nearly as much (Dr. Chris Graber -- my OB/Gyn and neighbor friend -- is a miracle worker!) I hope to keep this more up to date. Plus I suspect my evenings to have quite a bit more time to myself... as Phillip has already begun to feel the stresses of what is projected to be the largest harvest since 2007... and probably won't be around much as he prepares his employees and elevator for this big event.
Anyhow... enough rambling already... here's the photos!!
Here was our pregnancy announcement! We revealed that we were expecting on Easter Sunday this year, and I was shocked that not even my own mother suspected that I was pregnant!
Our very first photo of our "Baby Bean"... taken when I was 2 months pregnant, at this point in the pregnancy I had only been very sick and exhausted... so getting to see this tiny little bean with it's very healthy beating heart was such a blessing! Another blessing... only finding one in there!!!
So excited to see her Great Gremom and Poppa!!! She just ran right into their arms!!! Sooo adorable! I'm so happy she's finally losing some of that "stranger danger"! It lasted an entire year!
Auntie Boo might've won best gift!!! Candy from the convenience store! Boo definitely knows the way to a 2 year old's heart!
Celebrating my baby's birthday with her two favorite things, Elmo "Mo" and Soccer Balls "Hoccer Ball!" She was so impressed by the yummy cake her Gee made for her!
Elmo cupcakes made by Grammie Woo and Auntie Em!
A room full of people that love Callie Faith very much! Right here she is opening a gift she is loving to use right now! It's a soccer ball potty chair!!!
The yummy cakes
And blowing out her candle... something she had been practicing since she saw "Gimps" (Gramps Urso) blow his candle out in March! (she still couldn't quite do it alone... so Daddy helped!)
And her BIG present from Mama and Dada... a new pink tricycle!!! Her LOVES it... it's her "Bock" and she knows she HAS to wear her "Helmee". We have spent hours on this bike and just this weekend she started pedaling on her own!
The Gender Reveal Party
Team Blue (those who were guessing that Baby Van Court #2 was a boy...) Also include Danielle to this photo!
Team Pink
Cutting the cake our friend Tina Post made for us! Shocked to see the blue cake inside!!!
And Callie's new absolute favorite thing to do! Riding the jet ski at the lake with Da!! She would've done this for hours!
Hopefully I'll be back on before the next 3 months passes by! Love and Kisses to all!
