Yes, this is extremely tardy... and finally, tonight... I had the opportunity to really go through all of the photos that were captured on our holiday week in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Between myself, the professional photographer (aka- Grandfather Steve), an Auntie with a new awesome DSLR camera, a mommy with a camera and Grammie Lou... we managed to capture a memory... or 500!!! So many photos to go through! And so many were amazing! (Yes Steve, I did delete a few as I went through them all). What a wonderful time we all had together that week. Callie STILL talks about the great times she had with Mav, and the funny things that he said, the bonging of the clock (at hourly intervals), and the snow. We are so truly blessed... but instead of me continuing to write about it... here are the photos :)
After arriving in Cheyenne around 4 am... and getting just a couple hours of sleep... we all awoke to play in the snow!! A special thanks to Grandfather Steve and Uncle Phil for pulling the babies around the backyard... They loved it!
I love this photo of Mav... He is SUCH a cutie!
Callie: "Mav!!! Help me! I can't move in all of this snow gear!"
Callie: "Don't worry Mav, I'll hang on for the both of us!"
Mav on cousin Pete's motorcycle... He's clearly a cool dude!
Callie, in mid text message, telling Auntie Em she's on her own... usually Daddy is tickling her!
T'was the night before Christmas... I loved their Christmas jammies!
Her purdy excited that "Ho Ho" is gonna come visit her!
Uncle Chris and Auntie Erin
Ho Ho did come! (As Grandfather Steve in his Santa Hat) Callie was not impressed with being this close to Ho Ho.
But, easy going Mav sure thought Ho Ho was pretty great!
The Christmas Eve Story... notice Callie clutching on to Phillip... she was so unsure of the hat! But the rest of the vacation... all she wanted was for Grandfather to read to her!
Grammie Lou and her Christmas baby
Callie has already figured out how to get the men in her life to work for her ;) I think this worked out for the both of them!
So I already know they'll hate us for this later... BUT... I'm just not sure that there is anything cuter than bathing babies!
And this photo came from Auntie Erin's camera... but I just thought it was adorable!!! And so funny to see how different their builds are! Callie's legs are so much longer than Mav's! Cute little baby bottoms!
Uncle Phil taking the babies on another sledding expedition... to the hills of his elementary school!
Even the big girls had fun sledding!
Auntie Em with lil Mavy
And all of the Kansas Van Court's squished on to a sled... so fun!
There are a million other photos I could have posted... but I didn't want to overwhelm anyone... so perhaps, another time... but until then... enjoy our memories of Cheyenne!
