A Salina Halloween 2012

I could go on and on about what we did today... but it turns out... it wasn't terribly exciting. We woke up, decided to skip going to the library for story time (poor bitty was coughing all night long... so it couldn't have been very restful sleep), but after breakfast we went to the park, Mommy ran 2 miles (I've officially lost 11 pounds since June of this year!) while pushing a stroller and tugging a little weenie dog around the trail, we played at the park and then came home and took a nap (well... two of the three of us did anyway).

But, after nap time it was a totally different story!  We woke up, got dressed and went to Daddy's work to meet with the other Scoular kids for Halloween! (Don't worry Grandfather Faith, it was around 4:30 pm... so not much work was lost at the Salina office today ;)

So without further adieu, the photos :)

At Daddy's work... getting 5 kids, under 3 to all cooperate at one time is nearly impossible, even for the best Facility Manager Salina has to offer ;)

From Left to Right: Jill, an Accountant, with her cowgirl daughter AddyLynn, Phillip with his Monkey Callie, Molly, a Merchandiser, with her twins, Sullivan the Lion (her son) and Amelia the Elephant (her daughter, sitting alone in the front), and Tina (Seth Post's wife, facility manager for the Minneapolis location) with the lady bug Alex.

THANK YOU TO ALL OUR GRANDMA'S AND GRANDPA'S!
Look at how spoiled (and well loved!!) our little Callie is!  She received a card from Grams and Gramps Urso (she might have loved the Barney sticker the most!), a new book from Grammie and Grandfather Van Court, and a Weenie card and money from Gramma and Grampa Meyer (her hasn't decided what her wants to spend all her moneys on yet... but probably a ball of some sort!! Lately she has been wanting to sleep with one of her soccer balls!)!

Our very uneventful morning... Sneebie, suntanning, and Callie enjoying some freshly popped popcorn (Her LOVES popcorn!)

Except when it gets stuck in those toothers of hers...

Getting ready to hit up the neighbors for some candy!  You can tell they're both just a little hesitant/uncertain of what's going on...

What a beautiful evening to trick or treat... Here are a couple of my very favorite trick or treaters...
(please also notice that Duck Duck is tucked away in Daddy's pocket for Trick or Treating... Duck is just never far from Callie!  He even spent a portion of Halloween in her pumpkin candy pail.)

This might be one of my most favorite photos ever!  All of the loves of my life... walking side by side.

And last but not least... my super creative mother made these AMAZING sugar cookies for us (me) for Halloween!  They looks almost professionally made!  And were sooo yummy!!  Callie LOVED the Elmo cookies best!

Callie's second year trick or treating was a blast.  And one of our neighbors suspected that Sneebie might be trick or treating with us and even had a treat for him!  What a spoiled weenie we have!!  After it was all said and done, Phillip and I talked about how blessed we are to have such wonderful neighbors that had specifically set aside treats just for our babies.  We're so lucky to have good neighbors!!

The next blog post I make will most certainly include photos with Grammie and Grandfather Van Court!  They're headed to see us tomorrow!  We're so excited!

Happy Halloween Everyone!!
