This post just has a few photos collected from this summer... PLUS if you click on this youtube link listed below, you will be directed to a video montage created by Chris Ovrebo (Phillip's Brother-in-law) of Phillip and Chris racing a Camaro on a really awesome race track in Denver.
Our local Zoo, The Rolling Hills Wildlife Zoo, (which is small... but truly a perfect size for this mama!) has a Toddler Tuesday class at 10:00 am on the first Tuesday of every month. This summer Tina and I have taken the girls a couple of times... because they have so much fun! Here they are feeding the goats... Alex just LOVES the animals, while poor Bitty just isn't so sure. So uncertain, in fact, that she reminds us daily of how much she "on't nik HEEIM" (I DON'T LIKE HIM!) in regards to the sheep they got to feed.
I love the little playhouse (on the entirely opposite side of the zoo from the entrance) and so do the girls... here they're enjoying a picnic together!
Bitty practicing her big sistering skills with little Carter Scott at Gee's house. She actually didn't mind him and enjoyed buckling him into everything! If he cried (he's a REALLY good baby... I could only hope for Baby Boy Van Court to be as good of a baby as Carter) she would tell me that he needed his "mama".
We got to go to Rock River Rapids, the water park in Derby... Bitty loved it... and so did Mommy, because she had two aunties to play with!
Bitty loved Auntie Boo's Birthday party theme!! It was Minnie Mouse!
And some of you may have received photos via your phones of Callie's Nail Salon... she LOVED getting to paint her toes AND Daddy's!
Daddy was such a good sport... clearly not too distracted from looking at cars on the iPad.
The finished product! What beautiful toes!
Callie was so excited to see two "rain-bones!"
(And please excuse the panty photos... this was in the heat of potty training and keeping her in just those was easiest for her!)
Sorry for the super random collection of photos... but thought you all might like to see what we've been up to! And YES... Bitty is potty-trained (with the exception of night time)! It seemed too easy to be true... but she is! Such a blessing!
Love, licks, kisses and kicks from all of us Van Court's to you!
