Hello friends! Sorry it's been a while... I've busy planning the biggest event of the year for our little family, Callie's first birthday! We were absolutely overwhelmed with love and gifts from all of our friends and family and we are just incredibly thankful for everyone that made the drive, or phone calls to us. I still can't believe that it's been a year since I held that tiny squishy baby in my arms and brought her home from the hospital!
I will post a few photos from her "Super Pinakalicious" Birthday party below... but just before that, I think there is a new blog you all should read/follow. For the Love of a Cop (www.fortheloveofacop.blogspot.com). It's a new blog, my friend Sarah (Etheridge) Purcell, has started writing in. She is my friend that lost her Sheriff officer husband in 2009. She has decided to start this blog, in efforts to get some of her thoughts out in writing to share with her two daughters some day... and perhaps as a simple form of therapy for herself. I encourage you to read it, her story is incredible... and she writes beautifully.
