just a brief moment...

That's it!!  It's all I have... a quick moment to update this blog.  Bitty is (maybe?) napping... I'm still hearing occasional noises in her room and Will is snoozing in his bassinet... what a glorious gift from God for today!  Mommy time!  Dinner is in the crock pot (we're having this Beef Tips Recipe Link and the crock pot has become my best friend recently) <--Phillip LOVES the Beef Tips over Mashed Potatoes and the recipe is SOOO easy... the dishwasher is running (and the sink is empty!) and a load of laundry is in the washer!  I consider it a win for myself, considering I haven't seen my husband since Monday evening. (Let's just not talk about what the living room looks like... an undecorated Christmas tree and a massive toy explosion has taken the place of what could be a very nice sitting area).

Life has been so good recently... aside from Phillip working like a crazy man (I'm grateful for trains... because train-day means pay-day... but I just miss having him around)... so instead of spending time blabbing about it all... I will post photos (isn't that what everyone prefers anyhow?!)!

Our most recent photo shoot (yes, I realize I'm already behind)... here is quite possibly my FAVORITE photo!!  I love my two little noodle children!

We had to take a break mid-shoot... because someone became quite hungry for milk... and then, couldn't keep his eyes open to take any more photos... it's this wonderful stage we call the "milk coma"... anyhow, here is my little drunken Santa :) <-- the jacket was a little tight on that big ol tummy once he filled it up!

And my 3 love children... (I didn't realize that all of the stockings weren't hanging in the same direction until after I uploaded the photos... but what can I say... I'm certainly NOT a professional).

I truly cannot believe that Will is already 2 months old!!!  Time is just FLYING by... but I think the busyness of the holidays is what really made time fly.  Anywho... My goal is to do a photo update like this of each month (though I already missed Month 1) including his current statistics and what he's up to... we'll see if I actually can do it!

Here's the comparison:  Callie, at 2 months, weighed 10 pounds and stood 22 inches tall.  No wonder he feels like a tank compared to our Bitty Callie!

My sweet baby boy... he certainly has his father's hair and jawline... but those baby blues... those came from his mama :)

and also his fathers ears... hair and all, but, at least they don't stick out like his mommy's do!

One night while I was getting ready for bed... I asked Phillip to watch Will... when I came out of the bathroom... this is what I found... it was absolutely adorable... and so hard to imagine that one day, those tiny chubby hands will be man hands, just like his daddy's.  I love it.

This was a photo shoot I did at my mother's house just shortly after Christmas.  Here is 6 week old Soldier Will... I LOVE his eyes!  I was able to take the photos in her sun room... the lighting was AMAZING... and it captured what his eyes really look like!  They're just gorgeous!  There is NO editing done to his face or eyes in the photo!  I just couldn't change anything about it!

And here is my little guy looking up to one of his namesakes... James "Gamps" Urso... I'm not sure what Gamps was telling him at this point... but I know there will be so much that my little Will will learn from his Gamps.

I do have about a million other photos from Will's birth... Christmas... through today.. and I really want to share so many of those... it's just so hard to find time to sit down and type... but I really want to show all of my followers (ok... mostly the family)... just how stinking cute our little people are!  (Doesn't every parent?!?)

I hope all is well with everyone else!  Love, Kisses and Licks from Kansas!
